New Riga String Quartet – 4th February
If you’re still looking for Valentine’s ideas, then this event is certainly something to consider. Hosted by the Gibraltar Philharmonic Society, the New Riga String Quartet consists of renowned musicians such as Darja Smirnova, the assistant principle of the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra (LNSO). The Quartet will be performing on the 4th February at the Covent Ballroom at 8pm. Tickets will be selling for £20 and, if you are looking to treat the whole family, children’s tickets are free!

18th Gibraltar International Dance Festival 2020
The Gibraltar International Dance Festival is celebrating its 18th anniversary this year and are inviting entries for participation. The international competition is welcoming dancers and performers of different ages and dance styles to take part. The festival will take place at the John Mackintosh Hall, Gibraltar, and a range of prizes will be given to the lucky winners.

Rock Runners Road Racing League Race – 2nd February
Is your new year’s resolution to be more active this year? Then you should look at the Rock Runners Road Racing League Race 4 -10km as your next challenge. The race will take place at 10am on Sunday 2nd February, at the Tercentenary Sports Hall.

GibTalks 2020 – 1st February
Based on the widely known TED Talks, GibTalks will be hosted by the Gibraltar Cultural Services on Saturday 1st February, alongside the talented Julian Felice, at the John Mackintosh Hall. There will be a selection of 18 speakers to choose from, focusing on light-hearted, personal and anecdotal subjects for you to enjoy. The event has also given the public the chance to speak about topics they are passionate about in four 10-minute slots.

Young Art Competition 2020 – 25th February
It’s time to get creative and take part in this year’s Young Art Competition on the 25thFebruary 2020. The competition is welcoming local artists to show off their talents at the Mackintosh Hall, with the opportunity to exhibit three paintings or drawings and two sculptors. Not to mention that there will also be prizes for this year’s Young Art Competition winners.

Craft & Collector's Fair – 22nd February
If you’re looking for gift ideas, or simply a day out with a loved one, you should visit the St. Andrew’s Church Craft & Collector’s Fair on the 22nd February. There will be a selection of quirky collectibles and hand-crafted vintage items for you to browse at each stall. But, more importantly, there will also be a selection of tempting home-made food to snack on at the fair.

Bodasur Compo De Gibraltar – 7th February – 2nd September
Why not get into the Valentine’s spirit and visit Bodasur Campo De Gibraltar for some wedding inspiration – or, simply if you just like weddings! Located at the Algeciras Building, the wedding fair will be taking place from the 7th February – 2nd September 2020, from 12am to 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12am to 8pm on Sundays.

The IV Chicharrón Fest – 31st January – 2nd February
The IV Chicharrón Fest is certainly an event that you should enjoy with a loved one this February. Running from the 31st January – 2nd February, the event will be located at the Old Summer Cinema, in Los Barros, and – not to mention – free admission! The event will feature a range of entertainment from musical performances, children’s entertainment to the live preparation of pork rinds.
