RED STRIPE PRESENTS JAMAICA INDEPENDENCE DAY

Date: 3rd August

Enjoy a celebration of Jamaican culture at Cabana Beach Bar, Camp Bay. Taste traditional Jamaican cuisine and enjoy live music from Lion Rock Crew, Don Spider, One Drop Trio and DJ Rookie, all courtesy of Red Stripe.

GIBRALTAR BEER FESTIVAL

Date: 9th August

The 14th Gibraltar Beer Festival takes place at Grand Battery, and will offer a selection of beers and ciders from around the globe. Live music will be provided by Esc4pe. Tickets include five drink vouchers, but there are only 500 spaces for this popular event, so hurry!

QUE PASA GIBRALTAR

Date: 17th August

This brand new event brings 18 DJ’s from around the world to two stages. The event aims to showcase visuals and effects never before seen in Gibraltar. Limited early bird tickets are still available.

GIBRALTAR FAIR 2019

Date: 23rd – 31st August

Taking place once again in Queensway, the annual fair will offer incredible rides for all ages, games, side stalls, and activities hosted by local charities and sporting organisations. Taste a variety of foods, including the popular churros stall, and enjoy live entertainment every night.

2019 RAOB CHARITY CARDBOARD BOAT RACE

Date: 17th August

This annual charity event sees teams from across Gibraltar compete by building their own cardboard boats and racing them across Ocean Village Marina, all in aid of Clubhour Mental Health Support. As well as prizes for race winners, other award categories include best fancy dress, best boat design and ‘Most Titanic Sinking’.

SHOUT PRESENTS: A NIGHT FOR GIBSAMS

Date: 2nd August

After two successful events in London, SHOUT brings their third party to Rock On The Rock to raise funds for GibSams, a confidential helpline offering mental health advice. Tickets are just £5 at the door.

III INTERNATIONAL LA LINEA DE LA CONCEPCIÓN SHORT FILM CONTEST

Date: 29th July – 2nd August

The event, organized by Acucine in collaboration with the Municipal Delegation of Culture, the Provincial Council of Cádiz and the RTVA, will present around 50 short films. These have been selected from 1300 submitted films. Friday will see the closing ceremony and awards ceremonies, and the presence of a surprise guest actor.

VANESA MARTIN IN CONCERT

Date: 17th August

Vanesa comes to Gibraltar with her new tour ‘All the women who live in me’. The singer returns to the stage after a time of rest after her last tour, the successful "Munay", which was one of the most important tours last year in Spain which more than 200,000 people enjoyed.

ROYAL FAIR OF SAN ROQUE

Date: 7th – 11th August

The Royal Fair of San Roque is celebrated in honour of the Patron Saint Santa la Coronada. The festivities begin on Tuesday with the coronation ceremony of the Youth and Children’s Queens and their respective courts. The booths and attractions located in the El Ejido Fairgrounds open on Wednesday, when the inaugural ride will also take place. The Fair is closed on Sunday for an incredible fireworks show, and the "Toro del Aguardiente" confinement takes place early Monday morning.

AL FRESQUITO FESTIVAL

Date: 2nd August

The Fresquito Acoustic Festival is one of the most captivating festivals in Extremadura. The event takes place in the town square of Monterrubio de la Serena, and all music is played acoustically. The line-up includes indie stars and performers from the Spanish folk scene, all performing in an intimate and beautiful setting.
