Rock Fashion Rocks – 31st January – 17th February 2018

Celebrate the history and development of fashion design in Gibraltar, with the Rock Fashion Rocks exhibition. The exhibit will feature several pieces by the late Johnny Pearce and Eduardo Viotto, both considered to be pioneers in fashion design within Gibraltar, along with photographs, sketches and videos loaned to the exhibition from private collections.

Swan Lake – 4th February 2018

"The Swan Lake" returns to the Florida theatre. The Classical Ballet of St. Petersburg is the company founded by the main soloist of Mariinskiy Ballet Andrey Batalov (Artistic Director and Choreographer) and by Andrey Sharaev (General Director). His repertoire includes classic versions of the ballets “Swan Lake”, "Giselle", "Don Quixote", "The Nutcracker", "Chopiniana" and also the contemporary choreography created by Alexey Miroshnichenko, Emil Faski and others. In the cast are the ballet stars of St. Petersburg, such as Ekaterina Bortiakova, Cristina Terentieva, Nikolay Nazarkhevich, among other international artists. Follow Prince Siegfried as he falls in love with the swan princess - Odette, the victim of a powerful and evil wizard. Only true love can overcome the curse. Siegfried will also be the target of the sorcerer's deceptions. Upon knowing the deception, the prince will return to the lake to wage a battle for the love of Odette. White Swan and Black Swan are two opposite poles: one is sweetness and fragility, the other: power and provocation

Paco Montalvo in Concert – 10th February 2018

Carnival de la Concha Fina 2018 - 13th -18th February 2018

Don’t miss the carefree amusement of the parade, passing through the most comical critics of today, featuring the voices of the chitigoteros. This carnival celebrates imagination, joy, and the Andalusian self-confidence, helping the city show off and allowing it to be the perfect background for the carnival to unfold. The Linense Carnival also holds its own group contest, as it does every year at the Palacio de Congresos. The regional competition of carnival groups will be held between 13th and 16th February and the carnival in the street will be held on March 3rd, 4th and 5th.

Gibraltar International Dance Festival 2018 – 15th – 17th February 2018

Held at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre, the 16th edition of the festival is open to individuals, groups and academies with the chance to perform in various dance categories and styles. Categories include M.O. Productions Bursary Award, Best Female Dancer, Best Choreographer and Most Promising Infant, with up to £600 up for grabs in one category alone! You don’t have to be performing to enjoy the event, why not come along in support of the fantastic dancers?

Special Carnival of Algeciras 2018 – 16th – 18th February 2018

The Carnival of Algeciras is celebrated a few days before the beginning of Lent, surrounded by other popular celebrations very characteristic of the city. During the lead up to the carnival, the Adas are celebrated in the city, a popular festival that allows free tasting of various types of delicacies, especially those linked to the sea and typical of time. The cavalcade scheduled for Friday the 16th will depart at 5pm, while on the 18th there will be a carousel in the morning.

The Carnival of Tarifa 2018 – 22nd – 25th February 2018

Held at Tarifa, all parties of this carnival will have a common theme: the world of comic characters. As one of the last carnivals of the season, you don’t want to miss it!

The World of Fantasy – 24th February 2018

From the creators of ‘Michael’s Legacy’, The World of Fantasy follows a girl named Alice, who waits every night to go to sleep, since only in dreams can everything that she imagines become a reality. What Alice could not imagine is that her imaginary friend, Bob, would come alive and help her to enter The Fantasy World, where all dreams come true.

Discovering AC/DC – 24th February 2018

Join the Palacio de Congresos at La Línea de la Concepción for Discovering AC/DC, a tribute band for one of the most legendary rock bands in the world. The concert has been developed so that it’s suitable for the whole family, allowing the youngest of the house to experience the best songs from the group at a volume suitable for their little ears.
